Meet Nicole
Dear Friends,
Ever since I was a child, I’ve been captivated by the magic of plants. Suffering from multiple chemical sensitivities and a rare form of eczema for most of my life, it was plant medicine I finally turned to as a teenager to heal my skin for good. As my education deepened first into Holistic Esthetics and then Naturopathic Medicine, I discovered the synergistic nature of botany and ancient healing modalities to be a powerful catalyst for lasting healing and renewal.
In 1999, I began formulating a small collection of skincare formulas to help others and by 2001, this little skincare company of mine was born. More than 20 years on, the very same skin rituals NAHLA was founded on continue to translate the essential healing properties of plants and flowers into luxurious organic skincare - alive with transformative energy.
Every product we make is 100% natural but truly, they are so much more than that. Handmade in micro-batches using unique formulation processes developed exclusively at NAHLA, you will never find bulk bases, laboratory created extracts, outsourced production or shortcuts. Our priority continues to be offering something real and beautiful in an era of green washing, fleeting trends and hope-in-a-bottle hype.
We’ve skipped the pseudo-natural ingredients, deceptive jargon and slick PR campaigns - focusing instead on a slow process, exquisitely crafted product made with the finest organic, plant-based ingredients. With raw materials sourced from a network of trusted farms, including our very own botanically sanctuary and apiary, our products are made with nothing short of pure love.
As an Esthetician, Clinical Herbalist and Mother, I promise to deliver honest skincare you can trust. Handmade on the coast of Maine, I am proud to say that my woman-owned and family run company doesn’t answer to shareholders. We answer to you.
This is my vision for the future of holistic skincare. Discover your own ritual for beautiful skin and let me know what you think.
With Love,
